Devgiri Adventure Sports was formed by a group of eight like-minded youth with a vision to promote adventure sports, social and environmental activities with a difference. In the past one and a half year of its existence it has availed a range of adventure sports activities to the tourist as well as for the local people. Unlike the predecessors, Devgiri Foundation has taken a professional approach and is working rigorously for promotion of adventure sports activities like parasailing, paragliding, rappelling, rafting, river crossing, trekking, night camping in the wild, and agriculture tourism. While doing this, it has acquired a policy of hiring the services of local people to generate employment through tourism.
In the past it has also arranged for adventure sports camps at various tourist destinations like Bhandardara, Pitalkhora, Mhaismal, Gautala Sanctuary etc, . In the future Devgiri Foundation will be including more adventure sports related activities in its fold so tourist will be able to choose the activities of their interest. Devgiri Foundation has also undertaken tree plantation activity for the conservation of environment, in Mhaismal, which has become famous amongst local tourists in a very short span and around Aurangabad city, for the conservation of environment. Soon it will also be working in the area of organic farming as well as for the marketing of organic farm produce.
